Pay : $17.00
Hours : 6:00am - 2:00pm Monday to Friday

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operates punch press in the assembly operation.
• Positions part manually with components into nests.
• Accurately completes all production paperwork including job cards and tally sheets.
• Boxes and labels finished parts.
• Takes individual responsibility for all aspects of part quality to provide the company with the product that conforms to both quality and function requirements.
• Submits ideas to promote continuous improvement, emphasizing defect prevention, and the reduction of variation and waste.
• Uses and follows procedures and work instructions pertinent to tasks assigned.
• A physical presence is required at the plant location(s).
• Supports and exemplifies corporate values and commitment to quality, optimism, ownership, teamwork, and communication
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following 5S, safety, and environmental standards.
• Responsible for quality of part produced per the operator instructions.
• Know, understand, utilize and follow IATF 16949 and/or ISO 14001 procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION
High school diploma or GED.
One to three years of related experience.
Equivalent combination of education and experience.
Basic computer skills.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; hums or airborne particles; risk of electrical shock; and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
