Accounting Specialist
Fine Tune is searching for an Accounting Specialist to join our growing team. We’re looking for someone who will support our CFO with daily accounting/bookkeeping tasks, including AP, payroll duties, tax preparation, and more. There will be opportunities for additional responsibilities as we scale our new in-demand bill pay offering. This position will report to the CFO. This salaried position requires residency in one of the following locations: Chicago, IL; Louisville, KY; or Bloomington, IN.About Fine Tune

  • Perform basic accounting duties in accordance with standard accounting procedures
  • Perform various treasury functions including AR reconciliations
  • Process invoices
  • Contact clients when necessary to resolve invoicing/bill payment issues
  • Produce statements, ledgers, and reports as needed
  • Maintain internal SOPs and update them as warranted
  • Assist with HR-related accounting tasks (e.g., unemployment insurance, payroll taxes, etc.)
Desired Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree or three-years’ relevant experience
  • Intermediate-level Excel user
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong critical thinking skills
  • Accountable to yourself and to your teammates
