Job Description

We are looking for an Analyst/Associate (depends on the experience level) to join our Investment Team in New York to support the investment team in reviewing and executing due diligence of private equity and credit investment opportunities, portfolio monitoring and capital raising/IR.

Responsibilities:

• Be responsible for the qualitative and quantitative analysis of various investment opportunities of our direct investments.
• Support senior investment professionals in due diligence procedures, research and financial modelling.
• Prepare materials for senior professionals to use in client meetings, to support the firm's engagement with institutional investors. 
• Support end-to-end deal execution and liaise with legal or consulting parties on assigned portfolios and investment projects. 
• Assist in all aspects of the investment process, including drafting investment recommendations, presenting to investment committees, obtaining internal approvals and closing documentation.
• Assist in monitoring existing portfolios (both fund and direct investment portfolios), including regular update reports and valuation exercises.

Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

• 2-5 years’ working experience in financial markets with a strong financial literacy, understanding of basic accounting principles and analytical skills 
• Experience in private equity, private credit or investment management would be an advantage
• Strong intellectual curiosity and a fast learner, demonstrated can-do attitude
• Strong co-ordinator and team player, willing and able to multi-task
• Financial modelling capability
• Solid, demonstrated oral and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Chinese would be an advantage
• Strong computer skills, especially with MS Excel and PowerPoint
