DESCRIPTION
The Amazon Logistics (AMZL) Central Operations (Ops) team is looking to hire an Area Manager, Central Operations.
Key job responsibilities
Responsibilities:
Lead a team of Associates on their day to day operations
Allocate staff and labor to match business needs
Manage schedule and shift changes
Train and mentor employees and peers
Instrumental in developing new standard work for the network based on data observations and feedback
Responsible for excellence in standard work and SOP compliance of Associates
Support recruiting needs: interviews, phone screens, etc.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 1+ years of employee and performance management experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience
- Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
- Can push and pull wheeled dollies loaded with products up to 100 pounds during shifts
