Description:

We are looking for a collaborative and results-driven Assistant Project Manager with an excellent understanding of design and construction processes and strong communication skills.

~DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES~

• Assisting with managing coordination meetings, managing drawing distribution process, and maintaining project files

· Recording and distributing meeting minutes· Organizing, and scheduling meetings; managing record keeping files

• Managing the distribution of RFI & Submittals, ensuring timely responses
• Managing documents in Newforma database
• Participating in design team activities (scope, schedule, and budget hours); assisting in developing design schedules
• Participating in the construction administration process, participating in periodic site visits for quality monitoring and developing site reports, coordinating documentation required for the project close-out process
• Interfacing with subconsultants and ensuring proper design team integration
• Participating in quality assurance process, filing test reports and documenting deficiencies
• Supporting the Project Principal and Sr. Project Managers (managing, scheduling, estimating, reporting)
• Assisting Cost Estimator by collecting design criteria and defining Scope

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

~MUST HAVES~

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, or relevant architectural/engineering studies
• Minimum 1 year experience in the construction industry, or relevant architectural/engineering experience
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project, and Outlook)
