Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Assist in sourcing and purchasing raw materials, MRO items, packaging, and equipment parts to support manufacturing and warehouse operations.
• Work closely with Manufacturing, Distribution, and Automation teams to understand requirements and delivery timelines, so that purchases are aligned with demand forecasts and optimized inventory turns.
• Issue and manage purchase orders through the ERP system, Epicor Prophet 21, ensuring on-time delivery and proper documentation.
• Track orders, resolve delivery or quality issues, and maintain supplier communication.
• Assist in vendor onboarding, monitor performance, and identify supply risks.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records, pricing updates, and item master data.
• Support sourcing efforts in line with company sustainability initiatives and industry compliance standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on continuous improvement, cost-saving initiatives and spend tracking to support Company goals.

Qualifications:

• 0–2 years of relevant experience in a purchasing or procurement role; experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment is a plus.
• Proficiency in Excel, including advanced functions (i.e., VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP) and data analysis techniques.
• Familiarity with use of ERP software to manage purchasing processes; experience with Epicor Prophet 21 is a plus.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
