Job Description

Job Description

Staffing Proxy is partnering with Duncan Regional Hospital (DRH) to find a dedicated and compassionate Audiologist to join their growing team. DRH is a non-profit, community hospital that blends high-quality care with small-town values. While this is a hospital setting, the environment is cohesive and collaborative; leadership is present, the CEO is deeply involved with providers, and everyone shares the same goal: to improve access to care for their rural community.

This is more than a job; it's a chance to build long-term relationships, grow with the hospital's expanding audiology department, and make a meaningful impact on patients across all ages.

Position Overview:

In this role, you'll provide diagnostic audiology services for patients of all ages. Pediatric care primarily involves hearing evaluations and ABR testing, with occasional hearing aid fittings starting around age 5. You’ll also support adult patients through diagnostics, hearing aid fittings, tinnitus management, and vestibular assessments (including ENG and VNG), with support from a dedicated audiology technician to streamline your clinical workflow.

CI, BAHA, and vestibular cases are currently referred out, however the audiology team is preparing for expansion of available services, including a move into a larger, dedicated space as part of a new facility.

This role is a great fit for someone who's clinically strong and genuinely invested in rural healthcare. If you're looking to grow with a supportive team, build lasting relationships, and make a meaningful impact in the community, this could be the right opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive audiological evaluations for patients of all ages, including pediatric assessments
  • Perform tympanometry, speech, visual reinforcement pure tone audiometry, and ABR testing for newborns and young children
  • Fit, adjust, and manage hearing aids
  • Provide counseling and education to patients and families
  • Support patients with tinnitus through evidence-based strategies
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members for coordinated patient care

What You'll Love:

  • Working in a hospital where your voice is heard and leadership is accessible
  • Being part of a team that's growing, with a brand new audiology space on the horizon
  • Making a lasting impact in a rural community where your work truly matters

Benefits Highlights:

  • Comprehensive health insurance (for employees and dependents)
  • Generous PTO and paid holidays
  • 403(b) retirement plan with employer match
  • Relocation assistance
  • Licensure and malpractice coverage
  • Eligible for student loan repayment assistance up to $250,000 (requires a 5-year commitment)
  • Access to continued education and professional development

What We're Looking For:

  • Au.D. (Doctor of Audiology) from an accredited program
  • Active Oklahoma audiology license (or eligibility)
  • Strong diagnostic and communication skills
  • Genuine commitment to patient care and rural health
  • Interest in becoming part of a close-knit team and community
