Immediate opening for a: Auto Body Shop Technician

Job Description

Essential Functions:

· Align/trim metal & aluminum body panels to desired gaps and flush.

· Adjust and repair vehicle chassis as necessary to fit panels.

· Bond composite panels to vehicle chassis.

· Work to build schedule, ensuring there are no delays in the production cycle.

· Communicate status of vehicle progress clearly to the General manager.

· Operation of company vehicles and industrial machinery in support of providing completed company products.

· Assist in special projects as required and assist other body technicians and co-workers as requested.

 

Required Skills:

· Must have previous auto body shop work experience

· Must have experience using All-Metal and Mar-Glass

· Must be an excellent Listener

· Able to adapt to change at any given time, Quick learner, Able to work with minimal supervision after training

· Be dependable and punctual at all times

· Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

· Strong attention to detail

· Demonstrate ability to take initiative

· Present a professional appearance and demeanor at all times

· Ability to use good judgement to make timely and sound decisions

· Proactive in addressing the needs of management based on task

· Occasional O.T. as needed

· The ability to work flexible hours, including holidays and weekends.

· HS Diploma or GED, must have a valid driver’s license with clean record

· Must be able to read and write English

 

Starting salary is TBD – Depends on Experience. Located in North Hollywood, CA

This is a Temp to Hire Full-time position.
