Job Summary: We are looking for a Automotive Technician for our Kelly Jeep-Chrysler store, a NEW FLAGSHIP FACILITY! An opportunity to join a winning team, the #1 Sales Dealer in New England, and one of the busiest service facilities!!! Busy service which means more available sold hours for the right experienced line technician! The right candidate will have a strong service technician background, dealership experience preferred. The day-to-day duties include performing work on specific repair orders and diagnosing what repairs need to be done.

Your Responsibilities:

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership policies and procedures

• Multi-Point inspections and clear time spent checking each and every vehicle under your watch!

• Test-driven vehicles, and testing for components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.

• Regular communication with service writers to ensure clear messaging to the service client

• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

• Properly written CCC on repair orders!

What you Bring to the Table:

• 3+ years of Service Technician experience (Dealership Experience no required but preferred)

• High school diploma or equivalent, (ASE Certification preferred)

• At-Least B technician level qualifications; well-versed on Light Steering, Suspension, Brakes and Basic Diagnostic Skills

• Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination

• Mechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment

• Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies

• Positive, friendly attitude, along with an eagerness to improve

• Enjoy working in a dynamic environment

• Team oriented with ability to collaborate with others effectively

• Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
