Position Summary: The Business Development Agent (BDA) is the individual within the sales team who is responsible for creating, cultivating, and maintaining new business opportunities. They use a variety of methods including networking, cold calling, and social media to connect with referral partners and clients.
Primary Duties: As the Business Development Agent( BDA), you will play an active role in the evolution and growth of our business.Your focus will be building out and carrying strategic initiatives meant to bring new clients to the table. You will spend most of their day out of the office meeting people within the industry, such as but not limited to:
- Real Estate Agents
- Financial Planners
- Attorneys (Divorce Attorneys, Closing Attorneys, Elder Law)
- Title Agents
- Insurance Providers
- Banks /Credit Unions
- Property Managers
- Builders
- Human Resource Departments
- Relocation Companies
- Clients

BDR will report every Friday:
- How many appointments, events or seminars attended
- Number of conversations
- Number of leads generated
Requirements: This position doesn't require a Mortgage Loan Officer License. This BDA will not take a loan application (1003) or discuss rates with any prospective consumer or industry participant. Applicant must be willing to complete the pre-employment background process.
Physical Demands In terms of an 8-hour workday, "occasional" equals 1% to 33%, "frequent" equals 34% to 66%, and "continuous" equals 67% to 100%. However, some duties are performed monthly, annually, or sporadically throughout the year and are essential functions.
