About Michigan Express Line Inc. Michigan Express Line Inc. is a small, established trucking company based in Detroit, MI, operating since 2010. We specialize in flatbed, open deck, and Conestoga hauling across South and Midwest lanes. The Role We are seeking experienced CDL Class A Flatbed Drivers to join our team as either Company Drivers (W2/1099) or Owner-Operators . This role requires commitment to Over-The-Road (OTR) lanes, primarily across the South and Midwest. The ideal candidate has strong flatbed experience, an excellent safety record, and is ready for consistent, long-haul work.

Key Requirements

• Experience (Mandatory): 2 years minimum of Over-The-Road (OTR) experience, with at least 1 year being Flatbed experience.
• Safety Record (Mandatory): Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test with no previous failed drug tests and no at-fault moving accidents within the last 3 years.
• Equipment: Must be proficient in driving manual transmission trucks.
• Compliance: Familiarity with Apollo ELD is preferred.
• Licensing: Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).

Compensation & Perks

• Company Driver Pay (W2 or 1099): Pay varies from $0.65 to $0.80 per mile (CPM) , based on experience.
• Owner-Operator Pay: Starts at 82% of gross revenue . Can increase to 85% with a signed-on lease (6-month minimum) and 88% if you provide your own trailer.
• Schedule & Payment: Pay is weekly (one week back).
• Financial Benefits: Company fuel card provided, with discounts at TA and Petro stations.
• Bonuses: Cash bonuses provided for clean DOT inspections.
• Driver Comfort: Pets allowed in company trucks (with a $250 cleaning deposit). Passengers allowed as well.

Lane Focus:

• Over-The-Road (OTR) lanes, primarily throughout the South and Midwest.
