Lakeshore Talent is seeking an In-Home Services CNA to provide exceptional care to participants in the comfort of their homes throughout the Roanoke Valley. This is a unique opportunity to bring comfort, dignity, and support to individuals who need assistance with daily living while working in a flexible and rewarding environment. Pay: $19.23 - $23.08 per hour Schedule: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (flexibility for varied hours and occasional weekends) Location: Salem, VA 24153 Travel: Up to 75% travel to participants’ homes within a 30-40 mile radius (mileage reimbursed) Why You’ll Love This Role: Make a meaningful impact every day by helping participants maintain independence and quality of life. What You’ll Do: Provide compassionate, high-quality care by assisting participants with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and mobility. Support restorative care by helping with ambulation, positioning, transfers, skin care, catheter care, and oxygen monitoring. Observe and document changes in health status, functional ability, appetite, and skin condition, reporting promptly to clinical supervisors. Follow individualized care plans and participate in multidisciplinary care planning to ensure holistic support. Complete accurate and timely documentation of all services provided. Perform essential household tasks related to health care in the home. Attend mandatory training and continuing education programs to maintain certifications and enhance skills. Uphold safety standards and only accept assignments for which you are trained. What We’re Looking For: Current, valid CNA license and current First Aid & BLS certifications (AHA or Red Cross). Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and auto insurance. Minimum 1 year of experience working with frail or elderly populations. High School Diploma / GED or relevant experience. Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and a commitment to excellent patient care. Preferred Qualifications: Bilingual skills a plus!
