About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Marketing Officer to spearhead its consumer-facing marketing initiatives. The successful candidate will be instrumental in positioning the USA as the premier global travel destination, with a focus on driving incremental international visitation and enhancing the organization's profile. This leadership role involves collaborating with senior executives to set and pursue the company's mission and vision, directing the development and implementation of marketing plans, and overseeing a range of activities including research, content, creative, branding, and digital efforts. The CMO will also be responsible for establishing KPIs, reporting on the effectiveness of marketing tactics, and representing the company in the industry to ensure the United States is the preferred destination. Applicants for the Chief Marketing Officer position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field, with an advanced degree preferred. A minimum of 15 years' of senior-level experience in global communications, public relations, or a related field is required, with a strong track record in international markets. The role demands exceptional leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, as well as a deep understanding of the travel and tourism industry. The ideal candidate will have experience in promoting travel destinations, be familiar with digital and social media platforms, and have a proven ability to manage a diverse team across multiple geographies. The CMO will also be expected to travel internationally and must be prepared to work in a fast-paced, professional office environment.
