Civil Engineer

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Civil Engineer to join our team in the Chicagoland area. This role will support the planning, design, and execution of a variety of civil infrastructure projects, including site development, utilities, transportation, and stormwater management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the design and development of civil engineering plans and specifications.
  • Conduct site assessments, surveys, and feasibility studies.
  • Prepare engineering reports, cost estimates, and construction documents.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and contractors to ensure project alignment.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and permitting requirements.
  • Perform construction inspections and provide technical support during project execution.
  • Utilize CAD and other engineering software to produce accurate and timely deliverables.

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in civil engineering design or construction.
  • EIT certification required; PE license preferred or in progress.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microsoft Office, and other design tools.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with Chicago-area codes, standards, and permitting processes is a plus.
