Our client, a leading distributor of high-performance engineering plastic shapes, is seeking a CNC Machine Operator to join their team. As a CNC Machine Operator, you will be part of a dynamic environment supporting various operations. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: CNC Machine Operator

Location: Orchard Park, NY

Pay Range: $20 - $24/hr

Shift: 1st & 2nd shift available

What's the Job?

• Plan and perform a variety of machine operations utilizing numerical controlled machines, such as Mills, Lathes, Routers, and/or saws.
• Interpret complicated drawings, program sheets, instructions, and process sheets to determine work to be done.
• Perform diversified operations on numerical controlled machines to meet specifications.
• Review setup sheets and specifications to determine the sequence and dimensions of finished work pieces.
• Conduct inspections and gaging operations to ensure maintenance of quality standards and specifications.

What's Needed?

• Previous machine operation experience is required.
• CNC machine certification is a plus.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Recent CNC graduates are welcome to apply.
• Ability to manipulate controls and observe machine operations to detect malfunctions.
