Job Description

Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking a 2nd shift CNC Operator to join their team. As a CNC Operator, you will be part of the production team supporting the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. 

Job Title: 1st shift CNC Operator (Temp - Perm)

Location: Saugerties, NY

Pay Range: $21 - $25 per hour

What's the Job?

• Schedule is 6am - 4:30pm Monday - Thursday with O/T as needed on Fridays. 
• Set up and operate CNC machines. No programong.
• Read and understand all manufacturing instructions, drawings, and quality requirements
• Inspect finished products to ensure specifications are met
• Inspect product using measuring devices such as micrometer, caliper, and stereo microscope
• Troubleshoot problems

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 1 year experience as a CNC operator or machinist
• Good math skills, mechanical aptitude, and knowledge of machine shop tools and equipment
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
