Under the direction of the Commercial Real Estate Loan Division Manager, this position develops commercial real estate lending business opportunities for the Bank. Manages a commercial real estate loan portfolio consisting of construction and income property loans. Provides technical commercial real estate support to other lending areas of the Bank.

Responsibilities:

• Retain and strengthen existing customer relationships, and generate new business through active development and quality service. Travel as needed for customer calls and meetings.
• Manage own portfolio according to policies, including problem accounts and site inspections. Manage loan participations.
• Analyze, structure, and close various types of new business loans resulting in quality loans and fee income.
• Support quality processes, supervise staff as assigned, participate in departmental activities, and prepare reports for management.
• Cross-sell bank services.
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience.
• At least 6 years in commercial real estate lending or related experience, with team leadership experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with bank systems. Ability to use HP-12c calculator.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills. Flexibility in working hours, reliable transportation, and ability to travel required.
