Bartlett Roofing is hiring immediately for a Commercial Roofer I in our Boise, ID office!

The Commercial Roofer I is responsible for supporting the installation, repair, and maintenance of various roofing systems, including single-ply membranes, metal, shingles, and coatings. This role involves maintaining job site cleanliness, setting up and ensuring the proper use of safety equipment, and assisting with the removal of old roofing materials to prepare surfaces for new installations.

Pay Range: $20-30/hour DOE

Job Type: Full-Time, In-Office. This is not a remote position.

Minimum Requirements

• 1 year of roofing experience (commercial preferred).
• 1 year of General Construction experience.
• OSHA 10 Certified (preferred).
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs, kneel, stand, and bend for extended periods of time.
• Must successfully complete a background check.
• Must successfully complete a drug screening.
• Must successfully complete a motor vehicle record screening.

What You'll Do

• Maintain job site cleanliness throughout the day.
• Ensure safety equipment is properly set up, maintained, and used correctly.
• Conduct inspections for maintenance and repair contracts, documenting findings for company and client records.
• Serve as a flagger for moving equipment and vehicles on the job site.
• Remove old roofing materials and prepare surfaces for new installations.
• Assist in the installation of various roofing systems, including single-ply membranes, metal, shingles, and coatings.
• Perform emergency repairs and apply tarps to prevent potential leaks.
• Participate in on-the-job training to become a certified installer for multiple roofing material brands.
• Update job status in the CRM, including daily progress reports and photo documentation.
• Travel to supply houses to pick up necessary materials on the day of installation.
