The required availability for this position is M-F 9:00am to 5:30pm; MUST BE ABLE TO WORK FULLTIME Compounding Pharmacy Technician (Spanish speaking) Responsibilities The Compounding Pharmacy Technician will assist the pharmacist with providing safe and appropriate pharmacy services to our patients in accordance with the policies and procedures of Pharmacy Solutions, the state’s professional standards, and other regulatory entities. The Compounding Technician works under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, working in the clean room and compounding medication. A compounding Technician is experienced in all aspects of medication compounding and plays a significant role in the coordination of patient services. Demonstrates ability to perform nonsterile compounding per strict USP 795/800 guidelines Ensure all compounds are prepared in accordance to the master formulas and in accordance with USP 795, USP 797, and USP 800. Responsible for inspection, maintenance, cleaning, and sterilization of all laboratory equipment, instruments, utensils, and work surfaces necessary/required for the preparations. Compounding Pharmacy Technician (Spanish speaking) Requirements Sterile compounding Compounding experience 1 year of experience as a certified Pharmacy Technician Required Current Texas Pharmacy Technician License National Pharmacy Technician Certification IV Certification 1 year of sterile compounding lab or non-sterile compounding lab experience a plus High School Diploma or GED Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days.
