Position Title: Concessions Cleaner - Camp Randall Stadium & The Kohl Center

Pay Rate : $18.00 hourly

Job Summary

Summary: This essential role supports the cleanliness and sanitation of concession stands and mobile beverage carts, contributing to a safe, welcoming, and hygienic environment for all staff, guests, and event attendees at Camp Randall Stadium and the Kohl Center Arena. Ideal candidates take pride in detailed cleaning work and understand the importance of maintaining health and safety standards in a high-traffic, food service setting.

• Clean and sanitize countertops and work surfaces. 
• Sweep and mop concession stand floors. 
• Clean glass surfaces and windows. 
• Perform oven and equipment cleaning. 
• Maintain cleanliness of soda fountain machines. 
• Sanitize open-environment food carts. 
• De-lime and sanitize sinks, faucets, and other plumbing fixtures. 
• Address build-up or debris that may accumulate in or around open-air food service areas. 
• Assist with general concession cleaning and upkeep as needed based on event scheduling and staffing needs. 
• Implement techniques that adhere to the University of Wisconsin-Madison's Health-Code Standards. 

Qualifications : 

• Comfortable working around various types of debris and messes in an event stadium setting. 
• Physical ability to stand, bend, lift (up to 50lbs), and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods. 
• Ability to work in various conditions including cold weather, rain/snow, and heat. 
• Reliable, with attention to detail and a strong work ethic. 
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions regarding job duties. 
• Familiarity with food-safe cleaning practices (preferred). 
• Prior cleaning, janitorial, or concessions-based experience (preferred).
