This role is essential in ensuring that concrete surfaces are smooth, level, and aesthetically pleasing. The Concrete Finisher will work on either a residential or commercial project, contributing to the overall quality and durability of our construction work.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up work areas by clearing debris and ensuring safety protocols are followed.
• Mix, pour, and spread concrete according to specifications.
• Use hand tools and heavy equipment to shape, smooth, and finish surfaces.
• Apply plaster or caulking as needed to seal joints and edges.
• Read and interpret schematics to understand project requirements.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Restore damaged concrete surfaces through repair techniques.
• Install flooring materials as required for specific projects.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, performing minor repairs when necessary.
• Follow all safety regulations while operating machinery or working on-site.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Concrete Finisher or similar role in construction.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, heavy equipment operation, and welding techniques is preferred.
• Familiarity with plaster application and flooring installation processes is a plus.
• Ability to read schematics and follow detailed instructions accurately.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
• Excellent physical stamina; ability to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
• Valid driver's license may be required for commercial driving duties on job sites.
