Description
Job Summary: Serving as the liaison between all companies, departments, and employees involved in the execution of a new legal agreement; the Contract Manager will spearhead the process by which contracts are consolidated and created, ensuring that contracts move quickly and smoothly from creation to negotiation to execution.
Viable candidates must be willing to work onsite at GSI's headquarters in Palm Harbor, Florida daily. Key Responsibilities: - Craft, evaluate, negotiate, and execute a wide variety of different contracts covering a range of transactions
- Gather business requirements for new contracts
- Experience in government procurement contracts involving the licensing of software or SaaS solutions
- Facilitate legal discussions around unresolved contract issues and liaise with external counsel
- Create and maintain relationships with suppliers and serve as the singular point of contact for matters concerning contracts
- Communicate and present information to business partners about all contract-related matters
- Organize and manage documents, including the creation of draft contracts and repository system
- Maintain records for correspondence and documentation in relation to established contracts and those in progress
- Monitor contracts and move forward with close-out, extension, or renewal according to company's best interests
- Solve any contract-related problems that may arise with other parties and internally with the company itself
- Responsible for assisting with the preparation, filing, and servicing of legal documents
- Coordinate the collection, review and production of documents and respond to discovery requests
- Summarize legal terms and conditions within various contract-related forms
- Research and compare various State/Local government legal provisions
- Compile information and prepare template versions of Company legal documents (e.g., Software License Agreements)

- Ability to prioritize workload and assignments
Qualifications / Certifications: - Bachelors' Degree in Business Administration or commensurate experience
- 3 - 5 years actively negotiating contracts
- Experience in contract review, revision and negotiation is required
- CPCM certification (Certified Professional Contracts Manager) awarded by the NCMA or able to obtain within a year of employment
- Experience drafting, cite-checking, and correcting legal briefs
- Experience managing medium to large-scale document productions
- International contract experience a plus
- Proficiency with Document Review Software
- Working knowledge and competency with case management software
- Proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet software
