Counter Sales-HVAC

Our client, a leading HVAC wholesale distributor, is seeking a Counter Sales-HVAC to join their team. As a Counter Sales-HVAC, you will be part of the sales department supporting customer engagement and satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong retail sales experience, and a customer-focused mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Elmsford, NY

Pay Range: $22.00-$25.00/hr.

Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:30am-5:00pm & Some Saturdays 8:00am-12:00pm Temp-Perm Opportunity

What's the Job?

• Promptly assist customers at the counter, providing information and taking orders.
• Conduct yourself in a professional and ethical manner at all times, treating customers and associates with respect.
• Perform data entry on the computer system, including customer orders and inventory management.
• Answer telephones professionally, assisting customers and resolving any issues they may have.
• Continuously update product knowledge to meet customer needs effectively.

What's Needed?

• Strong retail sales experience with a focus on customer service.
• Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with customers.
• Proficiency in retail math for accurate transactions and inventory management.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
• Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus.
