Description:

Reporting to the Director of Manufacturing, the Custodian is responsible for ensuring Spray Products maintains and clean and healthy work environment. They will be required to comply with all regulatory, safety and environmental requirements.

· Ensuring spaces are prepared for the next day by taking out trash, tidying furniture and dusting surfaces.

· Sweeping and mopping floors, vacuuming carpets

· Washing and sanitizing toilets, sinks and showers and restocking disposables.

· Maintaining the cleanliness of a building and the surrounding grounds

· Handling simple repairs, such as swapping out old light bulbs and repairing broken pieces of furniture and equipment

· Performing a wide variety of routine cleaning tasks including, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, cleaning sinks/toilets, tables and countertops debris on the warehouse floor and company grounds

· Gathering and disposing of trash

· Tracks and maintains janitorial supplies.

Required Skills/Abilities

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently with little supervision.
• Ability to use a variety of cleaning techniques utilizing appropriate chemicals and cleaning equipment.

Education and Experience

· High school diploma or equivalent required.

· Related experience preferred.

· Physical Requirements:

· Prolonged periods standing and walking.

· Ability to execute strenuous, sometimes repetitive physical work such as climbing, lifting objects up to 50 lbs and pushing/ pulling objects up to and including moving heavy drums weighing 440+ lbs.

· Ability to stand for long periods of time.

· Able work in extreme temperatures, indoors and out
