Job Description Major Duties and Responsibilities A Customs Brokerage Agent will be expected to ensure timely and accurate operations while providing exceptional customer service within the Brokerage Department.
- Daily execution of workflow and department metrics
- Enter declaration information from documents, or other sources into our customs entry system
- Follow, update and create SOP's for client requirements
- Actively seek efficiency and contribute ideas for enhancement of work product
- Accurate and timely invoicing and strong understanding of payable process
- Build and maintain strong relationships with the customers and government organizations
- Ensure compliance to regulations at all times, both internal and external
- Identify and manage exceptions while also identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
- Effectively manage and organize emails for timely follow up
- Collaborate with and support the team in a positive manner
Qualifications - 4 year College Degree
- Customer Service experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Critical Thinking and problem solving skills
- Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, effectively communicate clearly and concisely to obtain positive results
- Pro-active, strong organizational skills
- Strong desire to learn
- Good computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Fluent in English

Additional Information Expected pay range for this position: $23.00-$25.00 per hour.
