The ACLU seeks a full-time position of Deputy Project Director in the Disability Rights Project (DRP) of the ACLUs National office in San Francisco, CA, or Washington, D.C.
The Disability Rights Project strives for an America free of discrimination against people with disabilities; where people with disabilities are valued, integrated members of society who have full access to education, homes, health care, jobs, families, voting, and civic engagement. We are also committed to ensuring that people with disabilities are no longer segregated into, and overrepresented in, civil and criminal institutions such as nursing homes, psychiatric hospitals, jails, and prisons. Reporting to the DRP Project Director , the Deputy Project Director will assist the Project Director in all aspects of management of the Project, including strategic planning, supervision of Project staff and litigation, and administrative duties as directed.
The ACLU is committed to equity, transparency, and clarity in pay. Consistent with our compensation philosophy, there is a set salary for each role based on geographic work location. The annual salary for this position is $220,285 (Level C2) , reflecting the salary of a position based in San Francisco, CA or Washington, D.C.
