We are looking for a full-time Diesel Truck Mechanic   to join our team! You will be responsible for performing basic repairs and preventative maintenance for a fleet of Mack, Freightliner and Volvo tractors, dump trucks and trailers. 

We are looking for a mechanic experienced in repairing and replacing minor issues such as lights, brakes, hoses, diagnostics, changing tires, etc. 

PAID WEEKLY. Health Insurance is available.

Call between 9am - 4pm ask for Donna 

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance on trucks, such as checking batteries and changing tires to ensure trucks are properly maintained and safe
• Repairing and troubleshooting major components such as engines, transmissions and differentials, including replacing complete assemblies, turbos, fuel system components, etc.
• Inspect various parts of trucks, including brake systems, wheel bearings and steering mechanicisms to ensure they are in proper condition to operate effectively.
• Replace parts, valves, bearings and gears as needed and repair vehicle cooling and heating systems.
• Measure vehicle emissions to ensure they are in the proper limits.
• Keep your work area clean and safe
• Working on other projects and tasks as assigned by management

Job Skills and Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a diesel mechanic and trailer maintenance 
• Must be able to work independently and lift heavy equipment and parts regularly and well as the ability to work well as part of a team
• Knowledge of shop equipment
• Valid driver's license required, CDL preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Willing to work in non-climate controlled conditions
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
