DIESEL MECHANICS NEEDED ASAP IN ROCHESTER, NY

We are seeking a few skilled Diesel Truck Fleet Mechanics to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and safety of our diesel truck fleet. ( Primarily working on trash pickup trucks, roll off containers, and flatbeds, etc.)
For this position – we only need Diesel techs with experience on medium and heavy-duty vehicles.

Monday through Friday, Multiple shifts available... 7am - 4pm, 11am - 7pm, etc. Guaranteed 40 hours a week - most weeks - between 5-8+ hours OT available each week.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues in trucks and heavy equipment. Service and maintain all types of engines.

• Conduct inspections and perform routine maintenance (PMs) and repairs on diesel trucks.

• Repair and replace brakes, steering, engines, and electrical systems. Fix brakes, hydraulic, and ignition systems

• Use diagnostic equipment and tools to test and repair vehicles.

• Maintain detailed records of services and repairs.

• Ensure all work complies with safety and environmental regulations.

Qualifications:
• Minimum 4 years experience with heavy duty diesel trucks. Primarily working on trash pickup trucks, roll off container flatbeds, etc. Diesel experience needed – ALL LEVELS 4+ years and up - Welcome to apply

• Own your own tools. Have reliable transportation to get to and from the shop(s)

• Work independently with minimal supervision

• Skilled with tools and diagnostic equipment

• Welding knowledge/experience is a huge plus (and would get extra ) but not required

• Must be able to multitask.
• Assist parts department in researching and ordering needed parts.

Salary (Paid weekly). Will range between 25 -33 per hour, depending upon experience. OT may be available. Sign on BONUS possible up to 3000. Also - Bonuses available for Attendance, Safety and other benchmarks.
