Job Overview: The goal of a High-Risk Team Coordinator is to identify high risk domestic violence cases by utilizing lethality/ risk assessments to interrupt the escalation of violence, improve victim access to services, and enhance offender monitoring and accountability.

Job Duties:

  • Implement and oversee a High-Risk Team (HRT) protocol for Bannock County Domestic Violence Court.
  • Oversee and coordinate the HRT which includes representatives from law enforcement, victim-witness coordinators, victim advocates, prosecution, probation and parole, and other agencies as necessary.
  • Conduct early risk assessment and collaborate with the High-Risk team to develop individualized intervention plans to address escalating violence and minimize the risk of further abuse.
  • Develop mapping of the system, and identify gaps and challenges in order to revitalize the Coordinated Community Response in Bannock County.
  • Provide technical and administrative assistance to stakeholders following implementation and oversight of HRT protocols. Follow-up with high-risk domestic violence victims and offenders.
  • Coordinate and assist in providing training to HRT, law enforcement and community professionals regarding risk levels in domestic violence cases.
  • Participate in the Bannock County Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Task Force
  • Assist in other grant management requirements and activities. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BA/BS in psychology, counseling/social work, criminal justice or related field or applicable experience.
  • Knowledge of domestic violence dynamics, stalking and sexual assault.
  • Experience planning, scheduling and coordinating meetings and trainings.
  • Computer skills (Word Processor, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong interpersonal relationship, team building and problem solving skills.
  • Knowledge of resources for victims and offenders of intimate partner violence
