The Dynamics Technical Architect is a critical member of the Dynamics Delivery team within Brown & Brown's Retail Software Engineering organization. Your primary focus will be the development of standard practices, mentoring, and solution design consultation to enable product teams to be successful while building business applications on the Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform. This is a dynamic role that requires strong business engagement skills, technical acumen, and the ability to direct and influence teammates across multiple teams. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, data analysts, software developers, and business stakeholders, to ensure the successful implementation and optimization of the entire power platform solution stack.

General Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and test Dynamics 365 solutions.
- Create tools for development teams to leverage in solution delivery.
- Mentor and guide junior developers, providing technical expertise and support.
- Lead code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize existing processes and propose innovative solutions.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives in the development process.
- Mentor and coach junior and mid-level Dynamics 365 developers, providing technical guidance and support in their professional growth. Facilitate regular knowledge-sharing sessions to enhance team members' skills and proficiency in automation tools, development best practices, and software delivery processes.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment, encouraging team members to actively participate in brainstorming sessions, design reviews, and solution discussions.

Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years designing and delivering D365 or similar solutions.
- Curious mindset to experiment and resolve functional and technical issues.
- Strong problem-solving skills for technology-related issues and complex business scenarios.
- Must be a hardworking individual who is detail-oriented, analytical, and inquisitive.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, .NET, TypeScript, JavaScript or SQL.
- Proficiency in React.JS
- Proficiency in D365 management tools (e.g. XRMToolbox, Modern & Classic Administration Console, DataVerse API)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) for data processing, integration, and storage.
- Proven experience in designing and developing solutions on Dynamics 365/Power Platform.
- Experienced in working within an "AGILE + DevOps" process management methodology.
- Ability to build strong relationships and work collaboratively on teams.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent people and project management skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications: - Solid understanding of insurance business processes and industry-specific challenges.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and data governance principles Working knowledge of agile methodology, techniques, and frameworks, such as Scrum or Kanban, to deliver solutions.
- Familiarity with custom rules engines for dynamics ( e.g. North 52, Hitachi Solutions)
