_We are seeking a freelance programmer to help us resolve an issue with our application server. The task involves diagnosing and fixing an issue that has arisen after the expiration of our free SendGrid plan. The application has started crashing when specific actions are taken, and we suspect the issue is related to SendGrid's API. This position is for a one-time fix, but may lead to further freelance opportunities depending on performance and future needs._

**_Key Responsibilities:_**
* _Investigate and resolve the application crashes that started after the expiration of the SendGrid free plan._
* _Disable the SendGrid email platform and implement a workaround using the native Linux mail app to send a very limited number of monthly emails._
* _Perform the fix directly on the_ **_Production server_** _(test server not available)._
* _Ensure no disruption to current application functionality while implementing the fix._
**_Skills:_**
* _Experience with_ **_Linux (Ubuntu)_**_,_ **_Node.js_**_,_ **_Jade/Pug_**_,_ **_MySQL_**_, and_ **_Bitbucket/Git_**_._
* _Proficient with debugging and troubleshooting issues related to_ **_email communication platforms_** _(especially SendGrid or similar services)._
* _Experience with server configurations, particularly in terms of upgrading software and debugging errors._
* _Familiarity with APIs (ex._ **_SendGrid_**_,_ **_AWS)_** _on Linux-based systems._
* _Ability to work under tight deadlines and with minimal supervision._
