Superintendent will:

• Work closely with the Estimating/Preconstruction team and Project Manager to facilitate a seamless transition from estimating to construction operations.
• Act as the principal company representative at the project site and be responsible for the timely and cost-effective placement of the contracted work by anticipating and resolving field issues, scheduling of materials delivery, and managing overall project schedule.
• Ensure safety guidelines are followed on the jobsite and enforce company safety program to all subcontractors and visitors.
• Implement and enforce all quality control policies and procedures by continually conducting a physical inspection of all work performed.
• Have a thorough understanding of the plans and specifications and develop the plan/schedule for the work.
• Oversee all day-to-day operations on the jobsite during every phase of work to include the supervision of all subcontractors and their contractual agreements, completing daily logs, timesheets equipment rentals and cost coding.
• Control field costs and assure all work is put in place in the most cost-efficient manner.
• Assist in the resolution of scope conflicts, working to attain resolution as soon as possible.
• Maintain constant communication with all project team members throughout the construction and closeout of the project.

Requirements:

• 8 years of commercial construction management experience
• Excellent communication abilities, including writing, speaking and active listening.
• Experience working in the field.
• Good planning and organizational skills, including design execution, resource allocation and contingencies.
• Great with problem solving and decision-making skills.
• In-depth understanding of local, state, and federal construction regulations.
• Effective leadership abilities: motivation, goal setting, team building and conflict management.
• Procore experience is a plus.
