As Head of Strategy for Personal Care North America and Unilever US, this individual will be responsible for defining the long-term direction of our largest North America business unit, while also shaping the broader strategic agenda for Unilevers U.S. operations.

This is a Senior Director role, member of PCLT and NALT, with significant executive visibility and enterprise scope. We are seeking a leader with future leadership potential, sharp strategic instincts, and the ability to engage, influence, and challenge at the highest levels of the organization.

Key Responsibilities Lead the Strategic Agenda for Personal Care NA

  • Own and drive the end-to-end strategy for the PC NA portfolio spanning brand growth, innovation bets, premium plays, and competitive response.
  • Guide strategic planning cycles, unlock category-level choices, and ensure alignment with commercial, consumer, and operational priorities.
  • Elevate discussions across the PC Leadership Team ensuring decisions are anchored in long-term value creation. This includes stewardship of OKRs to align teams to our 5 billion Euro ambition.

Shape the U.S. Enterprise Strategy

  • Act as a key advisor to the Unilever US President and NALT helping shape the next 3+ year roadmap for Unilever US.
  • Lead cross-BU strategic integration, identifying synergies, white spaces, and operating model shifts that can unlock competitiveness and efficiency.
  • Bring an enterprise lens to planning, investment trade-offs, and leadership focus areas connecting the dots across categories, functions, and markets.

Drive Strategic Focus and Performance Discipline

  • Ensure strategy is translated into prioritized actions, clear ownership, and performance routines across both PC and enterprise leadership teams.
  • Provide leadership with the insight, framing, and storytelling needed to make better, faster, bolder decisions.
  • Establish and embed a performance rhythm that keeps teams focused on what matters over a multi-year horizon. Ensure OKRs are used to drive performance and track strategic progress against long-term targets.

Influence, Challenge, and Engage at the Senior-most Levels

  • Operate with executive presence across PCLT, NALT, and global forums engaging with senior stakeholders to shape choices and build alignment.
  • Raise the bar on strategic dialogue bringing an external perspective, intellectual sharpness, and courage to constructively challenge.
  • Represent PC NA and the US enterprise in global forums, strategy initiatives, and transformation moments.

  • Proven enterprise impact and readiness for broader scope
  • Sharp business and financial acumen able to connect the dots across commercial performance, strategic choices, and market dynamics
  • Demonstrated ability to lead with Unilevers new leadership behaviors bringing clarity, generating energy, and delivering impact
  • Strong influencing and communication skills able to engage senior leaders, align diverse teams, and challenge with credibility
  • A systems thinker with the ability to simplify, prioritize, and drive action in complex, matrixed environments.

Pay: The pay range for this position is $210,600 to $421,200. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.

Bonus: This position is bonus eligible.

Long-Term Incentive (LTI): This position is LTI eligible.
