Job Description
You serve as the face of the business for one of the busiest, biggest bars in Ann Arbor, proudly welcoming and greeting our guests. You bring a respectful and cheerful attitude to each shift as you monitor the table rotation and seat our guests comfortably. You’re a core team member as you’re the first point of interaction for our high-volume, energetic college-aged crowds who are eager to celebrate, catch a game, dance, and enjoy a beverage/meal. You also fulfill a critical role as you team with the kitchen and server staff to deliver food to guests in a friendly, professional and knowledgeable manner.
Responsibilities:
Completes standard processes using Good Time Charley’s endorsed methods
Supports other team members to ensure smooth operations and a seamless customer experience
Greet and make customers feel welcome
Completes side work with professionalism and commitment to quality
Controls flow of seating; manages ebb and flow and ensures even table rotation
Brings a positive attitude every shift and treats everyone (clients and colleagues alike) with respect
Maintains composure, remains calm and patient despite dynamic, fast-paced environment
Is consistent with service approach and models organization’s values
Along with the rest of the team, helps with general bussing and conducts light cleaning
Performs opening and closing duties with thoroughness and attention to detail
Uses excellent customer service and displays friendliness throughout the course of every shift
Ensure guest satisfaction and maximizing financial success of our restaurant by leveraging effective communication skills; builds long-term relationships
Presents restaurant (and patio) at its best with a strong commitment to cleanliness
