Job Description:Picture Archive and Communications System (P.A.C.S) Administrator Job Description:This position is accountable for all aspects of the Radiology PACS system, including day-to-day support of the system and oversight for PACS upgrades. It is also responsible for the integration of the PACS system operation with Information Services infrastructure and standards. Has fiscal accountability for the PACS system. This position is also accountable for all aspects of the Radiology RIS system, including day-to-day support of the system and oversight for RIS upgrades. It is responsible for the integration of the RIS system operation with Information Services infrastructure and standards.Requirements:Option 1 - Associate's degree with 2 years' experience with windows-based computer systems; Minimum 2 years of Technical and Project Management experience with PACS required; Understanding of Radiology clinical and administrative procedures preferred; Minimum 2 years of experience working with an RIS, HIS, PACS, and Radiology Department Information System.Option 2 - Graduate of accredited School of Radiologic Technology with an active ARRT certification; Minimum 2 years of experience in the field of Radiology and PACS systems required; Minimum 1 year of experience with Informatics and windows-based computer systems required; Minimum 2 years of experience working with an RIS, HIS, PACS, and Radiology Department Information System.Must maintain current Radiologic Operators License for State and ARRT and have a current copy on file with the Hospital. Must have valid driver's license.
