Internship Description:

• Assist with design and management of water and sewer infrastructure projects. Projects include water distribution pipelines; water booster pump stations; water storage tanks; sewer collection pipelines; and sewer pump stations.
• Other tasks as needed to support Water Design Center teams and regional engineering teams.
• Position will include construction observation and time outside on active construction sites.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering from an ABET accredited program
• 0-1 years of related experience
• Passed the FE exam, or ability to do so within 6 months of hire

Preferred skills:

• Microsoft office suite experience; AutoCAD; ArcGIS/ESRI
• Working knowledge of presentation software such as MS PowerPoint or Keynote
• Strong communication skills and public speaking ability
• similar experience in the water/wastewater utilities market with a focus on linear assets, storage, and pumping for water distribution and wastewater collection systems
