Deslandes Design-Build is a luxury residential firm specializing in custom new home construction and remodeling, based in St. Petersburg, FL. We are looking for a full-time Interior Design/Office Assistant. We desire a team player, with an enthusiastic attitude, to be an integral part of our Design-Build team.

Responsibilities:

• Front of house position – Greeting, engaging and communicating with potential or existing clients and vendors. Call management.
• Procurement, purchasing and tracking of construction and design samples. Assist with managing construction and design sample libraries.
• Input maintain client selections in spreadsheets (Excel).
• Procurement, purchasing, tracking, and receiving construction and design materials, goods furniture.
• Coordinating, scheduling and logistics pertaining to delivery of goods and materials throughout entirety of project, from construction to furniture installation. Scheduling deliveries and services for clients.
• Create and maintain vendor accounts and relationships.
• Preparing material take-offs and estimating.
• Assisting design team in presentation of documents for field support.
• Other office management and support functions as determined and assigned.

Qualifications:

• Microsoft Office experience (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Verbal, written, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Self-managed, self-motivated able to work independently or with a team
• Ability to understand and follow directions, meet deadlines, and follow-through
• Organized with attention to detail, a sense of urgency and multi-tasking ability
• Energetic, enthusiastic and exhibits a positive attitude
• College coursework is preferred but not required
• Personal Transportation required
