Our client, a leading organization in the technology industry, is seeking a Software Design Engineer 5 to join their innovative team. As a Software Design Engineer 5, you will be part of the software development department supporting cutting-edge projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent collaboration abilities, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Software Design Engineer

Location: Redmond, WA - Hybrid

Pay Range: $54.51 - $60.hr on Experis W2 (Benefits and PTO)

What's the Job?

• Design, develop, and optimize complex software systems and components.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and solutions.
• Contribute to the development and testing of hardware and software integration projects.
• Analyze and troubleshoot system issues, providing effective resolutions.
• Participate in code reviews, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Minimum 8+ years' experience with test experience with data center/server hardware.
• Minimum 8+ years' experience with development experience with C++ (and Python).
• Minimum 2+ years' experience with understanding of CI/CD and ADO pipelines.

What's Needed?

• Minimum 8+ years of experience in software development, particularly with data center/server hardware.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python, and Rust.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Azure DevOps (ADO).
• Strong understanding of hardware diagnostics, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to adapt to changing project needs.
