Job Summary
We are seeking Licensed or Associate
Mental Health Therapists to join our team In this Part Time role in our Encino Burbank Los angeles locations at this time, working both in person and also via Telehealth . This is a hybrid position. You will diagnose and treat psychological disorders, enhance communication skills within family systems , assist patients in addressing dysfunctional behaviors, and guide them through crises. If you are an skilled therapist post licensure or a skilled Associate with at least 1200 hours toward licensure and passionate about providing high-quality care and mental health solutions, seek flexible hours and regular W2 payments and steady case load we want to hear from you! We offer highest level of supervision for Associate therapist with a range of theory modalities. We work collaboratively and provide a highly organized Administration team to help you develop a thriving private practice.
Responsibilities - Perform intake assessments
- Provide mental health therapy for individuals, couples, families, children & the LGBTQ community
- Create individualized treatment plans for each client utilizing EHR platform Therapy notes.
- Use evidence-based treatment and other theoretical approaches and methods to facilitate family and individual treatment.
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient information and treatment plans.
- Adhere to all facility and licensing standards
Qualifications
This is a part time position. - Masters degree in counseling, social work, or similar field for Associate therapists who have gained 1200 + experience in other settings.
- Current and unrestricted marriage and family therapy license
- Previous experience as a mental health therapist and or Associate required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized
- We require a minimum of 15 client cases up to 20 cases per week with one block of 5 hours to treat clients in one of our locations * see our website wilshirecenter.net for locations wilshirecenter.net . Other hours may be conducted via telehealth. A hybrid is required however. Our locations are Santa Clarita and Ventura only at this time .
- Confirm the youngest client you are able to treat in your resume.
- Prefer Therapist who has experience treating not only individuals but also some couples- Gottman Training - EFT- other trainings useful
- Prefer some experience with Children- Teens
- Immediate Start ( or within 2-3 weeks)
- Must be a team player.
