OneSpotMD Primary and Urgent Care is a physician owned practice in Charlotte, NC. We are recruiting for full-time CMA Medical Assistant to join our team. We are seeking candidates who truly cares for their patients, has CMA experience with minimum 1-2 yrs, adaptable to our work culture, and a team player.

Responsibilities:

• Handle all administrative duties in a timely manner
• Perform routine clinical tasks to support medical staff
• Escort patients to exam rooms
• Get patient's vital signs, and any ordered specimens
• Manage lab requisition forms and orders
• Specimen collection
• Run in-house tests (Nasal swabs, blood draws, UA, etc)
• Administer injections
• Enter patient history into EMR (DocuTap EMR)
• Keep the facility and room clean between the patient visits

Qualifications:

• Must be friendly with patients and have outgoing personality
• Previous experience in urgent care or ER is a plus
• Completion of Medical Assistant program OR Certificate
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong computer skills

Ideal candidate should be able to:

• Thrive in the fast-paced environment
• Available to work during the weekend
• Work 8-12 hours shifts
• Communicate clearly with the patients
• Learn EMR software quickly
• Use computers and type patient info quickly
• Work as a part of the team

Benefits

• Competitive base salary - $20/hour
• Overtime 1.5 times after 40 hours a week
• Additional Incentive Bonus
