  • Collaborate across Law & Regulation teams to synthesize legal opinions and align strategies.
  • Advise internal business stakeholders on regulatory developments, rules, and rate reviews within the property and casualty insurance space.
  • Act as legal counsel in connection with regulatory market conduct examinations and related compliance efforts.
  • Assist in legal strategy, communication, and planning for internal clients.

Education

  • Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
  • Active law license in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.

Experience

  • 7+ years of legal experience, preferably in the property and casualty insurance industry.
  • Demonstrated expertise in property liability and regulatory law.
  • Strong legal research and writing skills.

Other Attributes

  • Consultative and business-minded approach to legal issues
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Strong time management and organizational abilities
