Blue Chip Talent , in partnership with a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a skilled Test Engineer . This role is responsible for designing and deploying electrical/electronic test systems, developing modular software applications, and supporting test equipment commissioning and validation on manufacturing lines.

Job Duties:

• Review and approve test specifications and design change requests
• Analyze test sequences, cycle times, process flows, and failure modes from a manufacturing perspective
• Design test system hardware, including layout, cabinet design, component selection, and cabling
• Develop modular test applications with GUIs, parameter databases, and data logging capabilities
• Provide requirements for DUT handling and station interface controls
• Collaborate with controls engineers to define test sequences and failure-mode responses
• Manage sourcing, build, and validation activities for test equipment
• Create and execute commissioning and validation plans, including Gauge R&R and failure-mode simulations
• Launch test systems on manufacturing lines, monitor performance, and train relevant teams
• Partner with visualization teams to support dashboard creation for test data

Skills & Experience

Required:

• Strong knowledge of electrical/electronic circuits, connectors, and cables
• Experience designing electrical schematics using AutoCAD or Eplan
• Proficiency in NI platforms (PXI, cDAQ, cRIO)
• Skilled in NI LabVIEW, TestStand, Veristand, and scripting languages such as Python or MATLAB
• Familiarity with communication protocols: Automotive Ethernet, CAN, LIN
• Ability to use electrical test equipment including oscilloscopes, analyzers, and multimeters

Desired:

• Experience with PLC systems and industrial communication protocols (Ethernet/IP, OPC-UA)
• Arduino IDE experience
• Background in dashboarding or test data visualization tools
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
