Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop mechanical systems and solutions for complex products, ensuring alignment with project requirements.
  • Create detailed 3D models and engineering documentation using CAD software, managing product data and part numbers.
  • Implement engineering practices such as prototyping, tolerance analysis, and simulation to enhance product designs.
  • Conduct lab experiments and work with technical teams to validate designs and test product functionality.
  • Present design concepts and solutions in technical meetings, collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve problems.
  • Work closely with teams across different functions and locations to support product development and ensure quality standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement of engineering processes, tools, and methodologies to increase efficiency and product performance.
  • Oversee the transition of products from concept through production, ensuring designs meet manufacturing and performance goals.
What you need for this position:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on product development and R&D.
  • Proficiency in CAD design tools (PTC Creo preferred) and product data management systems.
  • Experience with simulation tools like FEA/CFD and testing methods for mechanical systems.
  • Knowledge of design change management processes and best practices in engineering.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies (JIRA experience a plus).
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with global and cross-functional teams.
  • Hands-on experience with product lifecycle management and transitioning products from design to production.
