Job Description

A retail employer in the Cincinnati area is seeking a Mechanical HVAC Engineer to lead the development of mechanical refrigeration plans that go beyond draftingThis role includes integrating engineering judgment, equipment selection, and regulatory compliance.

As a Mechanical HVAC Engineer, you will be responsible for selecting and sizing refrigeration equipment, creating detailed AutoCAD drawing sets, and adapting OEM components into cohesive system designs. The engineer will ensure compliance with EPA regulations and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative, efficient, and scalable refrigeration solutions. This position requires up to 25% travel.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of HVAC Engineering
• Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or Construction Engineering
• Knowledge of all building mechanical and control systems
• AutoCAD 2D experience
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Ability to travel up to 25%
