Description Amoskeag Health is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) and progressive, nonprofit primary healthcare organization that celebrated its 30th year in 2023! Our team of healthcare professionals positively impacts the health, well-being and quality of life for those we serve providing comprehensive, integrated, affordable healthcare and education to patients. We utilize a team-based model including embedded Behavioral Health Clinicians as well as Case Managers, Care Coordinators and Community Health Workers. The Interpreter will assist Amoskeag Health staff to provide interpretation, translation, and referral services at Amoskeag Health in an effort to increase patient's accessibility to high quality medical care and ancillary services. Job Relationship The interpreter is responsible to the Medical Interpretation Supervisor. Requirements Education/Training: High School Diploma. Medical background (terminology) preferred. Experience: Fluently speaks required languages (Nepali & English) The right candidate will be offered paid Interpretation training in order to obtain Medical Interpreter Certificate Skills: Ability to follow specific instructions. Ability to accurately translate medical terminology (verbal &written). Must have good written and verbal communication skills and be able to work with a multidisciplinary team. Amoskeag Health
