*Clinical Magnet* is looking for a *Medical Lab Scientist* to join our partner's full-time team in the *Rockford, IL* area. *This is a DIRECT HIRE OPPORTUNITY (*_*not*_ *contract)*

*Key Responsibilities for the Scientist:*
* Working with other scientists, perform and evaluate diagnostic procedures
* Apply principles and techniques of medical sciences

*Key Requirements for the Scientist:*
* Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role
* Strong knowledge and understanding of medical lab science techniques and theories
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Bachelor's degree in a science field: chemistry, physical science, biology, medical laboratory science (or similar)
* Accreditation from the American Society of Clinical Pathologists or similar agency

*Compensation and Schedule for the Scientist:*
* Target rate is $30-$44/hr
* Significant Sign-On Bonus!

* Schedule: 3-12-hour shifts weekly (nights) with rotating weekends and holidays
* Other 40-hour/week shifts available as well
