Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Practice Manager to oversee the operations of our multi-office pain management facility. This individual will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, implementing policies and procedures, coordinating with physicians and staff, and ensuring the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our practice. The Practice Manager will play a vital role in supporting our commitment to high-quality patient care and operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Operational Management : Oversee the daily operations of multiple Ascent Pain Solutions locations, ensuring smooth workflows, effective patient care, and optimal patient satisfaction.
  • Policy and Procedure Implementation : Implement and maintain up-to-date policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Billing and Revenue Cycle Management : Manage medical billing processes, including ambulatory surgical center (ASC) billing and clinic revenue cycle management, to ensure accurate billing and optimize financial performance.
  • EMR Systems Management : Ensure the proper management and functionality of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems. Lead the transition to new systems when necessary and train staff as required.
  • Human Resources and Staff Management : Oversee recruitment, hiring, and onboarding of clinical and administrative staff. Resolve employee disputes promptly and manage HR-related issues to maintain a positive work environment.
  • Physician and Hospital Collaboration : Work closely with physicians on scheduling, patient care coordination, and hospital interactions. Ensure effective communication between all clinical teams.
  • Regulatory Compliance : Ensure the practice complies with all federal, state, and local regulations related to healthcare, patient care, and business operations.
  • Quality of Care : Monitor and enforce high standards for patient care, including proper patient record management and maintaining a focus on quality treatments.
  • Sales and Marketing Collaboration : Collaborate with the marketing team to promote the services of Ascent Pain Solutions and support business growth.

Qualifications:

  • Experience : At least 5 years of experience in managing multi-office medical practices, preferably in pain management or a related healthcare field.
  • Technical Skills : Strong understanding of EMR systems, medical billing practices, ASC revenue cycle management, and healthcare operations.
  • Leadership Skills : Proven leadership ability to manage and motivate staff while resolving conflicts quickly and effectively.
  • Communication : Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with physicians, staff, and external partners.
  • Problem Solving : Ability to identify issues and implement solutions to improve operations and patient care.
