Mid Level .NET Developer Astor & Sanders (Astor) is an award-winning IT solutions provider located in McLean, VA and is seeking a Mid-Level .NET Developer. This is a full-time and remote position. Roles & Responsibilities Design and develop new database driven Intranet applications using NRC approved software and platforms to include a fundamentalunderstandingofMicrosoft.NET Framework, PHP, Python and Low code No code platforms Gather business requirements and develop an external application in Azure cloud JavaScript functions and Common Gateway Interface (CGI) routines and Microsoft .NET software. Design and develop new database driven Intranet applications using MS SQL server and or SQL Azure and Adobe ColdFusion middleware. Modification of existing Intranet applications. Data analysis using R software, Provide technical support to users of Microsoft Office 365 tools Designing and developing interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI Perform routine backups of software and management of backup media Provide technical support to users of applications Assist with activities involved in maintaining Federal Information System Management Act (FISMA) compliance including document maintenance, and system administration and testing. Prepare documentation of new and existing applications Additional duties as assigned. Requirements At least 5 years of web application development and web administration Experience in .NET or C#, PHP, Python and Low code No code platforms Knowledge of JavaScript functions and Common Gateway Interface Relational database design and support experience, as well as SQL knowledge Knowledge of Azure Cloud migration of applications Bootstrap experience Experience developing applications in Azure cloud Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 tools and Business Analytics tools (e.g., Power Bi) and data visualization tools.
