Locums Opportunity - NeonatologistLocation: London, KentuckyStart Date: December 1, 2025Duration: 9-12 monthsSchedule: 24-hour call (7:00 AM - 7:00 AM)Coverage: All days beginning 12/1/25 Hospital & Unit Information * Setting: Level II Special Care Nursery * Beds: 6-bed Level II Nursery + 22 well-baby beds * Admissions: Approximately 90 deliveries per month * Patient Census: 10-15 patients/day * EMR System: Epic * Support Staff: RNs in both special care and well-baby nursery * Reason for Coverage: New unit opening and recruiting permanent providers Clinical Responsibilities * Daily rounding in both Level II and well-baby nursery * Attend deliveries when complications are anticipated * Lead neonatal resuscitations * Care for preterm infants (32 weeks gestation) * Required Procedures: * Intubation * UVC/USC placement * Surfactant administration * Circumcisions (preferred, not required) Licensing & Certification Requirements * Board Certification: Pediatrics required * Will consider candidates with lapsed Peds boards if Neonatology certification is active * State License: Kentucky medical license required (IMLC not accepted) * Training: Pediatric Residency required * Certifications: * NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) * DEA license Allow RecruitWell to set up a phone call with you and the client to discuss more!
