OB/GYN Physician Job Description

Position Summary:

Seasoned Recruitment is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible OB/GYN Physician to provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care to patients. Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecological services, including prenatal care, labor and delivery, postpartum care, and gynecological examinations.
• Diagnose and treat a wide range of gynecological conditions and diseases.
• Perform surgical procedures, including cesarean sections and other gynecological surgeries.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as ultrasounds, mammograms, and laboratory studies.
• Develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients on health maintenance, disease prevention, and treatment options.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to established protocols and guidelines.
• Supervise and mentor medical staff, including nurses and medical assistants.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
• Completion of an accredited OB/GYN residency program.
• Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice in the state of which you are applying for, or the ability to obtain one. 
• Excellent clinical and surgical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
